Sacred Women’s Retreat: Beauty, Pleasure and Joy
with Dr. Deb Kern
April 27 – May 4, 2024
Join Dr. Deb Kern on a pilgrimage to the luxurious, healing Playa Chacala on the Pacific Ocean, a pristine and picturesque bay in the Riviera Nayarit, complete with golden sand, coconut trees and the tropical jungle. Here, Dr. Deb will create a restorative retreat where you’ll regenerate mind, body as you receive the healing powers of beauty, pleasure and joy.
You’ll gather with sister goddesses to dance, do healing yoga practices, chant, laugh, share heart-opening conversations and new adventures together.
Come receive the gifts of sea and sun, good company and delicious food. Above all, be nourished by healing self-care practices, fresh ocean air, and by the sound of the surf, which will lull you to sleep each night.
At Mar de Jade, you’ll be situated at the foothills of a tropical jungle, nestled between the mountains and the warm shores of the Pacific Ocean. Each morning you’ll awaken to the luxury of ocean air and bird sounds…. and you’ll feel your biorhythms readjusting to the swish of gently lapping ocean waves.
Each day, meals are carefully and lovingly prepared from fresh produce provided by a local 17-acre organic farm. Meals are served buffet-style during specific meal hours, including many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The kitchen makes chicken, fish, and seafood dishes, but no pork or beef, only sparingly purchasing ingredients that do not grow locally.
Your week will be an opportunity to unplug if you choose. Free wifi is available in the common areas, but not, generally, in guest rooms.
A typical day may offer:
7:00 – 8:30 Morning walk or meditation on your own (or sleep in)
