For most of us, the reality of modern life includes stress as an everpresent and unwelcome companion. The constant demands, deadlines, and pressures can leave us feeling drained and disconnected from ourselves, insight, and inspiration. But this is not the world we were evolved for. In order to thrive and not just survive, it is crucial to recognize the importance of designated spaces for deep reset. These sanctuaries offer us a chance to pause, recalibrate, and realign with our inner rhythms and our inner healer, providing the vital breathing room we need to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience. Our body, our breath, collective care, and the natural world hold potent medicine for our well-being and our ability to thrive.

This retreat is more than a getaway; it’s an invitation to embrace the rhythms of nature, move your body and breath, and reset your nervous system in the embrace of a supportive community.

The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea. ~ Isak Denesen

At Mar de Jade, you’ll be situated at the foothills of a tropical jungle, nestled between the mountains and the warm shores of the Pacific Ocean. Each morning you’ll awaken to the luxury of ocean air and bird sounds…. and you’ll feel your biorhythms readjusting to the swish of gently lapping ocean waves. Indulge your senses and invigorate your soul in this luxurious haven, where every moment is an opportunity for profound renewal and restoration.

Amidst the serenity of this tranquil paradise, take time to reconnect with yourself, nourish your body with wholesome cuisine, and replenish your spirit through moments of reflection and introspection. Whether strolling along the shoreline at sunset, indulging in spa treatments amidst the sounds of nature, or simply basking in the beauty of your surroundings, let each experience deepen your connection to the essence of self-discovery and well-being.

Nourish yourself each day with meals that are carefully and lovingly prepared from fresh produce provided by a local 17-acre organic farm. Meals are served buffet-style during specific meal hours, including many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The kitchen makes chicken, fish, and seafood dishes, but no pork or beef, only sparingly purchasing ingredients that do not grow locally.

Your week will be an opportunity to unplug if you choose. Free wifi is available in the common areas, but not, generally, in guest rooms.
